Children and adults with special needs are warmly welcomed to our practice. We see a wide range of special needs patients including autism, cerebral palsy, mentally and physically challenged patients. Dr. Baldy has personally met and observed the medical specialists that work with the autistic children, so that she could understand their needs more fully.
While we care for special needs patients in our office, we also acknowledge that some of our patients may need to go to the operating room so that we can complete their care comfortably in a hospital setting. Dr. Baldy and her staff established a dental suite at Children's and Women's Hospital in Mobile, so that the children and adults could be seen locally. In the past, patients were sent to Birmingham for their care.
